The DEC £169 Million Record, Explained

Four public DEC totals, and the role beside them.

Kaiser Khan helped coordinate four Disasters Emergency Committee appeals in 2017–2019 as an External Collaborator on behalf of Christian Aid. The published totals sum to £169 million, including East Africa at £66.4 million. Sources are DEC’s own reports, checked 13 August 2026.

In September 2012 Kaiser arranged a £7,500 gift to the Mo Farah Foundation. The Help A Child Project hospital visits (650 wishes) are another line. Neither is part of the £169 million.
